The League of the Black Flag is a close knit group of friends who portray pirates in the true spirit of "The Golden Age of Pirates". We have been guests at festivals and conventions all over the southern US including Tybee Island Pirate Festival, St Augustine Pirate Festival, PyrateCon in New Orleans, DragonCon, MegaCon, ChattaCon, ConNooga, Georgia Renaissance Festival, PiratePalooza, Stone Mountain Chili Cook-off and appearing as the official pirates for A1A, the official Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

Our crew dresses in period appropriate garb and carries weapons that are functional. We are all proficient in the safety and care of all the weapons we carry and can demonstrate how to use each and explain their functions. We also carry actual firing flintlocks and can partner with local authorities to demonstrate their firing. We can also provide sword fighting demonstrations and explain the weapons and how they were used in fights and battles.

The League of the Black Flag is one of the most authentic groups you will find, we interact with the public and remain in character through the entire event. We have been known to carry candle lanterns and flags which draw attention to our group as you would expect any top group of reinactors to do. We also break into songs and chats that were the norm for pirates. All in all, we are true pirates. We have been featured in such publications as Pyrates Magazine,The New Your Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the History Channel and the Travel Channel.  We are also scheduled to appear in a National Geographic Documentary on Pirates and Piracy.
